The Responsive Feeding module is an online course for early care and education providers (Head Start and Early Head Start teachers, family child care providers, child care providers) that educates on responsive feeding best practices, and on how to implement responsive feeding best practices in ECE settings.
The Responsive Feeding module is highly interactive and includes knowledge assessments throughout to support learning. The module was field tested with 30 center and family child care providers and reflects evidence based best practices as outlined in the 2017 Healthy Eating Research report “Feeding Infants and Toddlers: Using the Latest Evidence in Child Care Settings”.
The module takes approximately 40 minutes to complete or users can complete one chapter at a time. The Responsive Feeding course works best on a desktop or laptop in Chrome, Firefox, or Safari browsers.
There is a certificate of completion available to print out at the end of the module in addition to lists of supplemental resources.
